Thor, in Norse Mythology was the god of thunder, lightning, storms, oak trees, strength, destruction, fertility, healing and the protection of mankind. He was known to wield the mighty hammer Mjolnir with the help of special gauntlets (Járngreipr), as well as a specially made belt (Megingjord). Thor is also the son of Odin and brother of Loki and Baldr. His home was Asgard, one of the Nine Worlds that is in Norse Mythology. Thor was also said to have been killed by Jormungandr (The Midgard Serpent) by it's deadly poison (Eitir), during Ragnarrok.

The Orb of the Divine[]

Millions of years ago, Thor, along with the Greek God of Love Eros and Nabu, the Babylonian God of Wisdom participated in an event that created The Orb of the Divine; this event was called "The Event of the Divine". Thor represented the elements, strength and justice.
